Some people are more at risk of developing severe flu disease and its complications. These people can be vaccinated for free. This includes:

  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • babies and children < 5 years
  • people with underlying medical conditions
  • pregnant women
  • people 65 years of age or older.
